“Malak filled the room with her incredible, multi-octave voice, accompanying herself on keyboards to a song that evoked the epic scope of Lady Gaga mixed with the artistic sensibility of Kate Bush. The emotion in her voice was spine-tingling.” - Lynn Saxberg, Ottawa Citizen.
“She has an incredibly compelling, soulful voice coupled with a dynamic stage presence...Malak is a captivating performance artist gifted with a stunning voice and talent for songwriting...her original tunes are... powerful with pop/indie/soul/R&B influences, deep pocket beats, alluring melodies, and skillful builds.” - Agnes Malkinson, Bytown Sound.
